What to expect from a pottery painting session at Hot Pottery Painting

• Select a piece of pottery/ceramic of your desire from our current Pottery Collection such as a mug, bowl, or figurine.
• The pottery prices are from $24.99 and UP and it’s all inclusive of studio time, paints, glazing & kiln-firing.
• Collect your paints, brushes, water cups, and any other tools or accessories you may need. Sit and enjoy some relaxed and creative time.
• Prepare the surface: Clean the pottery thoroughly to remove any dust or dirt, ensuring a smooth painting surface.
• Plan your design: Decide on the colors, patterns, and overall design you want to create on your pottery.
• Start painting: Use your brushes to apply the chosen colors onto the pottery, layering and blending as desired. Let your imagination guide you!
• Add details: Use finer brushes or specialized tools to add intricate details, such as fine lines, textures, or embellishments.
• Leave your painted piece to fully dry. WE apply a layer of clear glaze over the painted surface to protect and enhance the colors) & kiln-fired to a bright, shiny, food-safe finish.
• Glaze we use is Non-Toxic, Lead Free and Food Safe. All low-fire painted piece’s are recommended to be handwashed for longer use.
• Firing process: WE place the pottery in a kiln for the firing process for you, which varies depending on the type of paint and glaze used. This step helps to set the paint permanently.
• Pick up your masterpiece and treasure it as a memory to last forever.  We’ll be seeing you again soon to paint and play!
• All fired ceramics ready for pick-up will be kept in studio for a period of ONE month. If we don’t hear back from you after you have been notified and the one month period is over, the potteries will be tossed out.
• CANCELATION POLICY:
  • Full refund minus the booking fee, if cancel ONE day prior to your appointment.
  • Zero refund, if cancel within 24 hours to your appointment.
  • No charge, if rescheduling to another date.
