What to expect from a Canvas painting session at Hot Pottery Painting

• Select your canvas (pre-drawn or blank) from our available selection at studio that suits your artistic vision.
• Plan your composition: Decide on the subject, colors, and overall design you want to create on your canvas.
• Gather materials: Collect your paints, brushes, palette, water cups, and any other tools or materials you’ll need.
• Mix colors: Squeeze out the desired paint colors onto your palette and mix them as needed to achieve the desired shades and tones.
• Start painting: Begin applying paint to the canvas, starting with broad strokes and gradually adding more detail. Build up layers of paint to create depth and texture.
• Experiment and explore. try different techniques, textures, or brushstrokes to add interest and express your personal style.
• Allow for drying time: Let each layer of paint dry before adding subsequent layers or details to avoid smudging or mixing colors unintentionally.
• Clean brushes and palettes: Rinse your brushes and clean your palette regularly to prevent unwanted mixing of colors.
• Sign your artwork: Once you are satisfied with your painting, sign it using your preferred signature style or initials.
